There have been some foggy mornings this last week...

soup

This wintery weekend was just right for soup making; yesterday a large pot of lamb and chickpea,  tonight a classic chicken. And the best thing - a freezer full of heart warming goodness for other rainy days...

the last bit

We completed the last section of the Surf Coast walk on the weekend. It was our favourite part with lots of cliff top walking and views out over the sea. It was certainly more enjoyable minus our packs (we had to postpone our 3 Capes walk in Tassie til later in the year, so training with packs was no longer a necessity)

a student life

I am not sure why we bought a desk for her bedroom. All her stuff is sprawled on the kitchen table and that is where 'studying' happens...
