The fog has been thick and persistent this week, alongside the cold and grey skies it has been a dreary few days. But interesting too. It is a bit weird to walk your dog along the river and not be able to see the water. To hear voices coming from a boat but see nothing, "There is a guide post just up here, slow down, a bit to the right, no, no I mean the left". I didn't hear a crash so they must have got it right. I certainly couldn't see them and sometimes I couldn't see the dog who kept walking while I got distracted taking photos, but thankfully who came running when I called her name, materialising out of the grey mist...
We often ask ourselves that question. It often leads to unexpected decisions, especially when you aim to live a life without regret.

The house will be quiet this week with both Colin and Johanna in Melbourne. One is trying to complete as much work as possible before he takes a break and the other is attending her first midwifery placement. That leaves Winnie and I on our ownsome...
